PROJECT XGUARD with Coach Raul Chavez's
BJJ YOUTH PROGRAM
Every Friday at @ 6:30 PM - Starting September 13th, 2019
Coach Raul Chavez is a BJJ coach and is also President of the not for profit organization Project XGuard. With his team, he teaches BJJ to At Risk Youth in North York, Scarborough, Maple, Pickering, and now in Vaughan.
Project XGuard supports youth ages 4 to 18 that live at or below the poverty line, who have verifiable learning disabilities, who live in communities that have increasing incidence of crime, who reside in community housing, that suffer from behavioural issues at school, that are are considered "young offenders" and who have suffered incidents of bullying.
Raul will be joining us at SMA Dojo to provide BJJ training to underprivileged and at risk children and youth on Fridays from 1830 to 1930. He hopes to use BJJ to effect positive change in our communities, while providing invaluable life skills to the children, youth and instructors. Even if you do not qualify to become a Project XGuard student, part of your membership fee with SMA Dojo will go to support this project.
*$10/month of all SMA Dojo membership fees go to Project XGuard.
