PROJECT XGUARD with COACH RAUL CHAVEZ

Coach Raul Chavez is a BJJ coach and is also President of the not for profit organization Project XGuard that teaches BJJ to At Risk Youth in North York, Scarborough, Maple and Pickering for $10 a month.
Project XGuard supports youth ages 4 to 18 that live at or below the poverty line, who have verifiable learning disabilities, who live in communities that have increasing inicidence of crime, who reside in community housing, that suffer from behavioural issues at school, that are are considered "young offenders" and who have suffered incidents of bullying.
Raul will be joining us at SMA Dojo to provide BJJ training to underpriviledged and at risk children and youth on Fridays from 1830 to 1930. He hopes to use BJJ to effect positive change in our communities, while providing invaluable life skills to the children, youth and instructors.
In support of Project XGuard, SMA Dojo is donating space at the dojo, and will donate part of each membership fee to support this project.
